Inaugural Convening Report

In April 2024, the CHARGED Initiative held its Inaugural Convening in Boulder, CO, where 60 stakeholders from across the industry collaboratively identified over 50 least-regrets and long-term solutions to enable affordable, reliable, and equitable electrification of the U.S. distribution grid. This report documents key insights and actions to advance these solutions across five utility-related workstreams—planning, rates, deployment, grid connection, and operations—along with cross-cutting needs for improved data sharing.
