GIS Best Practices Report
During the 2024 Inaugural Convening, one of the potential solutions identified by industry stakeholders was the development and documentation of geographic information system (GIS) best practices. This report, developed through interviews with utility GIS managers and users, along with in-person, utility site visits, is a guide on distribution system GIS investments for electrification and best practices for GIS implementation based on lessons learned across the industry.
